A Personal Note From Marie
Welcome to Marie Chapian Art. I describe my art as a spiritual journey by blending the traditional with new skills, curiosity and the all important imagination. My background in theater still lives with the passion to create something out of nothing; whereas an actor or singer-dancer creates a character or story for an audience ot relate, making paintings or sculpture creates visual experiences that invite viewers to step inside and image on a journey in their own mind.
I locate God in everything. As an author of over 30 books (MarieChapian.com) I find myself completely captivated by the reality of a living God. I spent many years in higher education as both student and teacher, becoming counselor and life-coach, allowing me to bring out the psychological part of art making.
Counseling, teaching, writing, creating song and story, art – for me is my life and the spiritual journey of a curious pilgrim. I’m pleased you’re here to enjoy and experience.
